Biography       

Mirjana Vrbaski was born in Montreal, Canada in 1978. Having spent the first 16 years of her life in Serbia, she moved back to Canada in 1994. She studied English Literature at the University of Guelph in Ontario and Communications at McGill University in Montreal. At the age of 27, after having worked in communications, she moved to the Netherlands to complete a Bachelor of Photographic Studies at The Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. She now lives in Amsterdam. Mirjana’s work revolves around the portrait as a way of exploring innocence.
